I have obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Vision at the University of Trento (Italy), where I was a member of the MHUG group, advised by Prof. Elisa Ricci. During summer 2023, I have been a visiting student at the University of Bristol (UK), where I was part of the MaVi group, advised by Prof. Dima Damen. During summer 2024, I have been a visiting researcher at IBM Ireland as part of the ELIAS project. As of December 2024, I started a new position as a Pricing Analyst (AI & Data Engineer) at Allianz SE (Rome branch).
My research interests include Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, with particular respect to Video Understanding, Vision&Language, Domain Adaptation and Generalization.

March 3th, 2025 After a three months trial, I am officially part of the Global P&C Pricing team at Allianz SE (Rome branch), where I work as a Pricing Analyist (AI & Data Engineer).
January 24th, 2025 - With the final defense of my dissertation Human action recognition in the real world: handling domain shift in open-set, source-free and multi-source scenarios, now publicly available, my Ph.D. path has come to an end. Big thanks to all the amazing people I've had the pleasure to work with during this beautiful experience, and in particular to my advisors Elisa Ricci and Paolo Rota!

May 7th, 2024 - I am excited to have started my visiting period at IBM Ireland, where I am working on topics related to tuning, explainability and bias mitigation in Large Language Models.
